Hiraki Co., Ltd. (3059) revised its full-year forecast to a net loss of ¥160 million from a previously projected ¥100 million profit and scrapped its dividend for the fiscal year ending March 2027.

The Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard-listed retailer reported a first-half (April-September) net loss attributable to owners of the parent of ¥231 million, compared with a ¥61 million loss a year earlier and its earlier projection of a ¥50 million profit. Net sales fell 4.2% to ¥5.866 billion, short of the ¥6.2 billion forecast, and the operating loss widened to ¥97 million from ¥50 million.

The result included a ¥138 million impairment loss. Hiraki carried out a ¥149 million large-scale renovation of its mail-order logistics center in the half, but citing lower profitability in the mail-order business, it wrote down the building at its Ikuno site to its recoverable amount. Mail-order sales fell 7.0% to ¥2.412 billion, with a segment loss of ¥10 million.
