The company said clients had tightened their scrutiny of the cost-effectiveness of training budgets. New large-enterprise deals for its "Schoo for Business" video learning service and "Enterprise Drive" consulting service took longer to close, more customers opted for small, department-level rollouts, and existing large clients took longer to decide on company-wide expansion. Fourth-quarter steps, including standalone sales of "AI-related seminars," did not close the gap with the initial plan. Strategic investments such as a dedicated enterprise sales team went ahead as planned, leaving fixed costs unabsorbed.

Preliminary corporate ARR came to ¥3.147 billion, 78.8% of the planned ¥3.996 billion.

Schoo set up subsidiary LoLLL on April 3, 2026, and is moving to consolidated reporting from the fiscal year ended September 2026. Its consolidated forecast calls for sales of ¥3.438 billion, operating profit of ¥132 million and net profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥85 million, or ¥6.98 per share. Going forward, it will disclose only consolidated forecasts.

The company plans to release its full-year earnings report on Nov. 16, 2026, along with its forecast for the year ending September 2027.
