Asahipen Corporation (4623) on Oct. 19 raised its consolidated forecasts for the fiscal year ending March 2027, lifting projected sales to ¥22.8 billion from ¥21.5 billion and net profit attributable to owners of the parent to ¥680 million from ¥670 million.

FY sales forecast¥22.8 billion (from ¥21.5 billion)
FY net profit forecast¥680 million (from ¥670 million)

The Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market-listed company revised the forecast it announced on May 13, 2026. For the full year (April 1, 2026-March 31, 2027), it now expects ordinary profit of ¥1.15 billion, up 9.5% from the previous ¥1.05 billion, and operating profit of ¥1.05 billion versus ¥1.0 billion previously. Projected earnings per share were raised to ¥187.10 from ¥180.70.

For the first half (April-September 2026), the company raised its sales forecast by 10.8% to ¥12.188 billion from ¥11.0 billion. Operating profit is now seen at ¥580 million, up 9.4% from ¥530 million, and ordinary profit at ¥640 million, up 16.4% from ¥550 million. Interim net profit was left unchanged at ¥400 million, while interim EPS was revised to ¥110.06 from ¥107.88. First-half sales a year earlier were ¥8.015 billion.

Asahipen said first-half sales are expected to exceed its previous forecast mainly because it made four companies of the Hodogaya Denshi Hanbai group, which handle clock and watch supplies, subsidiaries on Jan. 30, 2026, and because of a temporary increase in demand for petroleum-derived products due to the situation in the Middle East. The higher profit reflects the increase in sales. The full-year forecast was reviewed in light of the first-half projection.
