Rorze Corporation (6323) on Oct. 8 raised its net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2027, by 35.9% to ¥37.8 billion from ¥27.8 billion, and increased its planned year-end dividend to ¥28 per share from ¥20.

The company said strong semiconductor demand would push sales above its April 9 forecast, with higher sales lifting operating profit, ordinary profit and net profit attributable to owners of the parent. Rorze now expects sales of ¥180.0 billion, up 39.8% from ¥128.8 billion in the previous fiscal year, and earnings per share of ¥217.84, versus ¥159.62 previously forecast.

For the first half from March 1 to Aug. 31, 2026, sales rose 21.5% to ¥79.7 billion and operating profit climbed 42.4% to ¥23.1 billion. Ordinary profit, also affected by foreign exchange, jumped 68.4% to ¥24.5 billion, while net profit rose 45.7% to ¥15.8 billion. The company cited strong conditions in the global semiconductor industry and rapid growth in the data center market, which drove active investment in chipmaking equipment.

Sales at the semiconductor and FPD-related equipment segment rose 21.6% to ¥79.4 billion, with segment profit of ¥24.0 billion. The life science segment posted a loss of ¥147 million.

The ¥8 increase lifts the year-end dividend to ¥28, compared with ¥17 for the previous fiscal year.

The dividend will be put to the 42nd annual general meeting of shareholders scheduled for May 2027. Rorze plans to file its semi-annual securities report on Oct. 14, 2026.
