THine Electronics raises FY revenue forecast 28.6% to ¥8.61 billion, keeps profit view

Thu, Nov 05, 2026 15:30 JST THine Electronics, Inc. (6769.T) Electric Appliances 中文

THine Electronics, Inc. (6769) raised its consolidated revenue forecast for the year ending Dec. 31, 2026 by 28.6% to ¥8.61 billion from ¥6.70 billion, while leaving its operating profit forecast of ¥13 million and net profit forecast of ¥107 million unchanged.

FY revenue forecast¥8.61 billion (from ¥6.70 billion)
FY net profit forecast¥107 million (unchanged)
Nine-month revenue¥5.85 billion (+123.7%)
Nine-month net loss¥185 million

The Tokyo-listed chipmaker said shipments of smart-meter products in its AIOT business, where full-scale mass production began in the second half of the previous year, have grown steadily, helped also by price revisions reflecting higher manufacturing costs. The segment is now expected to exceed its full-year plan. LSI sales are tracking broadly in line with plan, but higher manufacturing costs are expected to push gross margin below the original plan.

Because of the sales mix, gross profit is expected to remain broadly at the planned level. Selling, general and administrative expenses, including R&D on new optical semiconductor products using its DSP-less technology, are also expected to be broadly on plan, so the ordinary profit forecast of ¥85 million and other profit forecasts were not revised. The year-end dividend forecast of ¥15 per share was unchanged.

For the nine months through Sept. 30, the company reported:

ItemJan.-Sept. 2026Jan.-Sept. 2025
Revenue¥5.85 billion¥2.61 billion
Operating loss¥351 million¥470 million
Ordinary loss¥266 million¥621 million
Net loss¥185 million¥529 million

Revenue rose 123.7%. AIOT segment revenue jumped 333.5% to ¥3.88 billion with operating profit of ¥295 million, while LSI revenue rose 14.6% to ¥1.97 billion with an operating loss of ¥646 million. The nine-month result included a ¥184 million gain on the sale of investment securities.

Under its "Innovate100" medium-term strategy, THine targets consolidated revenue exceeding ¥10 billion in fiscal 2027.
