The company attributed the upgrade to steady sales of “Sora no Kiseki the 2nd,” released simultaneously worldwide on Sept. 17, and “Kyoto Xanadu -Ouka Genbu-,” launched in Japan and Asia on July 16, along with strong global sales of “Sora no Kiseki the 1st,” released in September last year.

In a separate filing, Nihon Falcom said it will raise its ordinary year-end dividend by ¥20 to ¥30 per share and add a ¥30 commemorative dividend to mark cumulative global sales of more than 10 million units for its “Kiseki” series, of which “Sora no Kiseki the 2nd” is the latest title. The total year-end payout would be ¥60, up from a previous forecast of ¥10. The company paid no interim dividend for the year. For the fiscal year ended September 2025, it paid ¥20, including a ¥10 commemorative dividend.

The commemorative dividend will be submitted for approval at the annual general meeting of shareholders scheduled for December 2026.
