For the first half (April 1-Sept. 30, 2026), the company said revenue exceeded its earlier forecast as construction progressed faster than initially assumed, while profits benefited from improved project margins and progress in addressing design changes and rising prices. Full-year revenue is expected to be broadly in line with the previous forecast, with profits revised up for the same reasons.

The interim and year-end dividends were each raised by ¥24 to ¥117, bringing the annual payout to ¥234, compared with ¥183 for the previous year. The expected payout ratio is 50.09%. Since the fiscal year ended March 2025, the company's basic policy has been a total return ratio of 50% or more and DOE of 4.0% or more.

The board also approved buying back up to 176,000 shares, or 1.7% of shares outstanding excluding treasury stock, for up to ¥590.48 million through the Tokyo Stock Exchange's off-auction ToSTNeT-3 system at the Oct. 15 closing price of ¥3,355. The company said some shareholders had informed it of their intention to sell. As of Sept. 30, 2026, it had 10,297,123 shares outstanding excluding 317,102 treasury shares.

The buyback order will be placed at 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 16, 2026, valid only for that session, and may not be fully executed. Results will be announced after the trade.
