T.RAD cuts FY net profit forecast 9.4% to ¥8.6 billion, raises sales outlook

T.RAD Co., Ltd. (7236) on Nov. 2 cut its net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 to ¥8.6 billion from ¥9.5 billion, while raising its sales forecast to ¥168.0 billion from ¥165.0 billion.

FY net profit forecast¥8.6 billion (prev. ¥9.5 billion)
FY sales forecast¥168.0 billion (prev. ¥165.0 billion)
H1 net profit¥4.34 billion (up 5.9%)
Annual dividend forecast¥82 (unchanged)

The company said a review of customers' latest sales plans pointed to higher revenue in Japan and Europe, prompting a ¥3.0 billion upward revision to sales from the forecast issued on Aug. 3, 2026.

Profits, however, are expected to fall short of the earlier forecast. In the Japan segment, rising material costs and higher research and development expenses will offset the benefit of increased sales. In the U.S. segment, the expected tariff burden and smaller-than-planned cost reductions will weigh on earnings. The company also now expects to book a loss on the disposal of its old system this fiscal year, as a project begun in fiscal 2024 to overhaul its production management system is progressing well.

The company kept its dividend forecast unchanged under its progressive dividend policy, at ¥41 for the interim and ¥41 at year-end, for an annual total of ¥82. Without adjusting for the 10-for-1 stock split that took effect July 1, 2026, the annual dividend would be ¥820.

The interim dividend of ¥41 is scheduled to be paid starting Nov. 27, 2026.
