Sanshin Denki (8150) raised its consolidated net profit forecast for the year ending March 2027 by 22.2% to ¥4.4 billion from ¥3.6 billion and lifted its annual dividend forecast to ¥170 per share from ¥140.

FY net profit forecast¥4.4 billion (prev. ¥3.6 billion)
FY operating profit forecast¥6.3 billion (prev. ¥5.55 billion)
Annual dividend forecast¥170 per share (prev. ¥140)
First-half net profit¥1.88 billion

The Tokyo-listed electronics distributor kept its sales forecast at ¥186.0 billion, but raised its operating profit outlook by 13.5% to ¥6.3 billion from ¥5.55 billion and its recurring profit forecast by 16.0% to ¥5.8 billion from ¥5.0 billion. Forecast earnings per share rose to ¥359.40 from ¥294.06. The revised profit figures remain below the year ended March 2026, when operating profit was ¥6.91 billion and net profit ¥4.96 billion.

The company said both its device and solution businesses ran ahead of initial plans through the first half, citing strong sales for automotive and data-center storage applications and steady public- and private-sector ICT replacement demand.

The year-end dividend forecast was raised to ¥130 from ¥100, bringing the annual total to ¥170 including the ¥40 interim payout, compared with ¥190 a year earlier. The company targets a consolidated payout ratio of 50%.

ItemFirst halfYoY
Sales¥87.60 billion-0.2%
Operating profit¥2.61 billion-20.2%
Recurring profit¥2.32 billion-20.4%
Net profit¥1.88 billion-25.7%

First-half operating profit fell on higher human-capital spending and increased depreciation from shortened useful lives tied to headquarters redevelopment. Net profit was also weighed by a prior-year gain on the sale of Osaka branch land and buildings.

Next steps: the semiannual report is scheduled to be filed on Nov. 6, 2026, and the interim dividend is due to be paid from Dec. 1, 2026.
