Shimizu Bank (8364) on Oct. 26 raised its consolidated net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 to ¥2.9 billion from ¥2.5 billion, a 16.0% increase, and lifted its annual dividend forecast to ¥70 per share from ¥60.

The revision updates forecasts released on May 15, 2026, with the larger change in the first half. In the year ended March 2026, consolidated net profit was ¥2.0 billion, of which ¥1.508 billion was earned in the first half. On a non-consolidated basis, the bank raised its full-year ordinary profit forecast to ¥4.4 billion from ¥3.5 billion and its net profit forecast to ¥2.9 billion from ¥2.5 billion.

Shimizu Bank said rising interest rates pushed fund management income at the bank on a standalone basis, including interest on loans and interest and dividends on securities, above its initial projections, putting first-half results on track to exceed its forecast. It raised the full-year outlook after taking into account the financial and economic environment and recent earnings trends.

The interim and year-end dividends will each rise by ¥5 to ¥35 per share, for an annual total of ¥70. The previous forecast and the payout for the year ended March 2026 were both ¥60. The bank's shareholder return policy sets a stable dividend of ¥60 as its base and targets a payout ratio of around 30% on a progressive basis.
