Seiwa Holdings Co. (523A) raised its revenue forecast for the year ending May 2027 to ¥11.0 billion from ¥9.8 billion and its adjusted operating profit forecast to ¥2.0 billion from ¥1.8 billion, citing three newly consolidated subsidiaries.

The board approved the revision on Oct. 14, 2026, replacing the forecast issued on July 15. Since then, the company has acquired Daiei Parker Co. (Aug. 5), Hoan Doro Kikaku Co. (Aug. 31) and Eishin Denki Co. (Sept. 1) and made them consolidated subsidiaries. The earlier forecast did not include the three companies; the outlook for existing businesses is unchanged.

First-quarter results under IFRS, released the same day, showed revenue for June-August rose 11.6% to ¥2.1 billion. Operating profit fell 62.9% to ¥151 million and profit attributable to owners of the parent fell 62.0% to ¥106 million, which the company attributed mainly to ¥226 million in M&A-related acquisition costs and a gain on bargain purchase that shrank to ¥90 million from ¥168 million a year earlier. Excluding such items, adjusted operating profit rose 10.1% to ¥330 million and adjusted EBITDA rose 9.0% to ¥411 million.

Total assets were ¥16.84 billion at the end of the quarter, and the ratio of equity attributable to owners of the parent fell to 37.8% from 42.6% at the end of the previous fiscal year. The company kept its dividend forecast at zero. It said purchase price allocation for the new subsidiaries is not complete and the forecast excludes undisclosed M&A deals.
