Macnica Holdings, Inc. (3132) on Nov. 2 raised its net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 by 43.7% to ¥46.0 billion from ¥32.0 billion, lifted its annual dividend forecast to ¥90 from ¥80, and announced a buyback of up to 1.6 million shares or ¥5.0 billion.

FY net profit forecast¥46.0 billion (from ¥32.0 billion)
H1 net profit¥22.28 billion (+102.1%)
Annual dividend forecast¥90 per share (from ¥80)
Buyback cap1.6 million shares / ¥5.0 billion

The company also raised its revenue forecast to ¥1.67 trillion from ¥1.3 trillion, operating profit to ¥67.5 billion from ¥52.0 billion and recurring profit to ¥66.0 billion from ¥47.0 billion. Projected earnings per share rose to ¥257.56 from ¥179.21.

Macnica said AI-related demand is driving the semiconductor market, while cybersecurity demand, led by endpoint security, is expected to expand further in Japan and overseas. In its CPS solutions business, however, development of autonomous EV buses remains in an investment phase, and a sales plan revised for changes in the overseas business environment, along with a project that ended after a customer halted vehicle development, will leave second-half sales and profit in that area below the initial plan.

For the April-September first half, net profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 102.1% year on year to ¥22.28 billion. Revenue increased 44.5% to ¥831.29 billion and operating profit climbed 91.5% to ¥33.52 billion.

The board set the interim dividend at ¥45 per share, ¥5 above the previous forecast, for a total payout of ¥8.04 billion, and raised the year-end forecast to ¥45 from ¥40. The company paid ¥70 for the previous fiscal year. The buyback covers up to 0.89% of shares outstanding excluding treasury stock, through market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The EPS forecast does not reflect shares acquired from Nov. 4.

The buyback runs from Nov. 4 to Dec. 21, 2026. The interim dividend takes effect on Dec. 2, and the semiannual report is scheduled to be filed on Nov. 13.
