Creek & River Co., Ltd. (4763) raised its forecast for the year ending February 2027, lifting projected net profit to ¥3.55 billion from ¥3.45 billion and its year-end dividend to ¥52 from ¥51.

FY net profit forecast¥3.55 billion (prev. ¥3.45 billion)
FY operating profit forecast¥5.65 billion (prev. ¥5.45 billion)
Annual dividend forecast¥52 (prev. ¥51)
First-half operating profit¥2.76 billion (up 32.7%)

For the six months through Aug. 31, sales rose 14.1% to ¥32.06 billion, operating profit climbed 32.7% to ¥2.76 billion and ordinary profit increased 34.4% to ¥2.76 billion, all record highs according to the company. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent fell 3.6% to ¥2.11 billion, reflecting an extraordinary loss tied to studio expansion and the effect of lower tax expenses recorded when the Takahashi Shoten group was consolidated in the previous fiscal year.

First-half results exceeded the company's July 9, 2026 forecast on every line, with net profit beating the projection by 31.7%. The company said it had conservatively estimated seasonal effects at the Takahashi Shoten group, held by T&W Office, which publishes planners, diaries and calendars. Returns concentrate in the second quarter under publishing-industry practice, producing temporary operating and ordinary losses at the group and lowering tax expenses for the half. The company expects tax expenses to rise from the third quarter.

The company cited solid performance in its core Creative (Japan) and Medical segments, as well as at the Takahashi Shoten group, consolidated in March 2025. The revised outlook implies sales up 8.3% and net profit down 13.5% from the previous year.

The dividend increase follows a policy targeting a consolidated payout ratio of around 30%. The previous year's dividend was ¥50. In August 2026, the company also made Linktech, a system development and SES provider, a consolidated subsidiary.

The company plans to file its semiannual securities report on Oct. 14, 2026.
