Rei (4317) raised its consolidated net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2027 to ¥950 million from ¥820 million, after lifting its first-half net profit estimate 55.7% to ¥436 million.

FY net profit forecast¥950 million (from ¥820 million)
H1 net profit forecast¥436 million (+55.7%)
FY sales forecast¥13.5 billion (+3.9%)
H1 sales forecast¥6.711 billion (+22.0%)

The company revised on Oct. 8, 2026 the forecasts it announced on April 14, 2026. Full-year (March 1, 2026-Feb. 28, 2027) sales are seen at ¥13.5 billion, up 3.9% from ¥13.0 billion, with EPS at ¥72.10 versus ¥62.33.

First-half operating profit, recurring profit and net profit were raised by 56.0%, 59.3% and 55.7%, respectively; the full-year figures were raised by 20.0%, 18.2% and 15.9%.

The company said first-half sales are expected to come in well above its initial estimate, citing a large project booked in its SP event division, a large equipment delivery for a permanent exhibition in its video equipment rental division, and steady equipment rental business for entertainment clients. Profit at each level is expected to rise along with sales.

For the full year, part of the company's production resources will be devoted to orders scheduled to be booked next fiscal year, and second-half sales are expected to be weaker than initially planned. However, solid first-half results mean full-year sales, operating profit, recurring profit and net profit attributable to owners of the parent are all expected to exceed the previous forecast.

For reference, prior-year results were first-half sales of ¥5.845 billion and net profit of ¥547 million, and full-year sales of ¥13.419 billion and net profit of ¥1.303 billion.
