The company said it has implemented price revisions on several products since April 2026, and that sales have tracked broadly in line with plan, supported by steady sales of kombu (kelp) and yogurt products. On the profit side, the effect of the price revisions continued to materialize, while productivity improvements and cost-control efforts also contributed, pushing profitability above initial assumptions.

Compared with the year-earlier first half, the revised operating profit forecast is above the ¥506 million actual, while net profit remains below the ¥763 million recorded a year earlier.

Fujicco kept its full-year consolidated forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 unchanged, citing the need to carefully assess an uncertain business environment, including trends in raw material and energy prices and changes in consumer behavior. It said it would promptly disclose any further revision if one becomes necessary.
