Brangista raises FY net profit forecast 27.5% to ¥2.55 billion on securities gain

Brangista Inc. (6176) on Oct. 19, 2026 raised its net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 by 27.50% to ¥2.55 billion from ¥2.0 billion, citing a gain on the sale of part of its investment securities.

The Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard-listed company revised the full-year forecast for the period Oct. 1, 2025-Sept. 30, 2026 that it had issued on Feb. 13, 2026. It cut its sales forecast by ¥220 million, or 3.93%, to ¥5.38 billion from ¥5.6 billion. Operating profit is unchanged at ¥1.45 billion, while ordinary profit was lowered by ¥60 million, or 4.23%, to ¥1.36 billion. Forecast earnings per share rose to ¥178.80 from ¥143.16.

Net profit is now expected to exceed the previous forecast by ¥550 million, mainly because the company booked an extraordinary gain on the sale of part of its investment securities holdings, as disclosed in a Sept. 28, 2026 announcement, Brangista said.

Sales are expected to come in slightly below the earlier forecast due to changes in the demand environment in its solutions business. The company said it still expects sales and profit to exceed the prior year's results, marking a fourth consecutive year of higher sales and profit and record-high results.

The forecast figures are based on information available as of the announcement date and have not been audited by the company's auditor.

Brangista plans to announce its consolidated results for the fiscal year ended September 2026 on Nov. 16, 2026.
