The company, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard market and the Nagoya Stock Exchange Main market, said progress on large projects in its social infrastructure business fell short of initial assumptions, pushing expected sales below the previous forecast. At the same time, the project delays shifted the timing of related costs to later periods, narrowing the operating, ordinary and net losses from the earlier projections.

The company kept its full-year consolidated forecast unchanged, saying it expects to make up the delays in large projects going forward and also expects the associated costs to be incurred. It said it would disclose promptly if events requiring a revision arise.
