The company said its data security and network security businesses both performed steadily on demand for security products to counter damage from ransomware and other cyberattacks, which it said continue to increase, as well as rising demand for recovery support from affected companies. It expects its operating margin to exceed its initial assumption. The data security business is expected to add ¥200 million in sales and the network security business ¥220 million, lifting combined operating profit from the two businesses by ¥270 million.

Sales will also rise by ¥428 million as Amiya consolidates the income statement of Ampere Co. from the fourth quarter. Amiya announced on May 13, 2026, that it would acquire shares in Ampere, making it a consolidated subsidiary, and start a new business.

The company cautioned that actual results may differ from forecasts due to various factors.
