GMO GlobalSign Holdings K.K. (3788) raised its net profit forecast for the year ending December 2026 by 24.7% to ¥1.312 billion and lifted its planned year-end dividend to ¥74.35 per share from ¥59.67.

The board approved the revisions on Oct. 19, 2026. Only net profit attributable to owners of the parent was raised, by ¥260 million, with earnings per share now projected at ¥114.38, up from ¥91.79.

The upgrade mainly reflects the sale of shares in subsidiary GMO Digital Lab, carried out on July 1, 2026, as disclosed by the company on Aug. 13. GMO GlobalSign booked an extraordinary gain of ¥440.476 million on the transaction in the third quarter of fiscal 2026. The gain includes contingent consideration under an earn-out clause tied to the divested company's future performance. The company also cited foreign exchange gains and its review of one-off effects from the termination and consolidation of existing services and changes to contract terms in its cloud infrastructure business.

Under a policy adopted from fiscal 2026, the company targets the higher of a 65% consolidated payout ratio or a 4% dividend on equity (DOE) ratio, with DOE calculated on equity excluding foreign currency translation adjustments. Reflecting that policy and the upgraded outlook, it raised the year-end dividend by ¥14.68 per share. The annual total of ¥74.35 compares with ¥56.91 for fiscal 2025.
