The maker of electrical and piping materials revised its full-year forecast, first issued on July 23, 2026, for the fiscal year running from March 21, 2026 to March 20, 2027. Forecast earnings per share were raised to ¥293.91 from ¥268.54.

The company said its electrical materials and piping materials business saw front-loaded procurement of some products and substitute demand stemming from supply constraints in the first quarter, linked to the situation in the Middle East. A pullback had been expected from the second quarter onward, but results remained firm. Despite expected increases in raw material unit prices, higher revenue from price revisions and other factors is expected to lift all profit lines above the previous forecast. The dividend forecast is unchanged at ¥135 per share for the full year, including an interim dividend of ¥50.

For the first half ended Sept. 20, sales rose 8.3% from a year earlier to ¥24,861 million, operating profit climbed 20.0% to ¥3,792 million and net profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 20.5% to ¥2,646 million. The company said first-half sales and each profit line set records. Sales in the electrical materials and piping materials segment rose 8.4%, while segment operating profit increased 24.9%.

The company plans to file its semi-annual report on Oct. 30, 2026, and to begin paying the interim dividend on Nov. 26, 2026.
