The company cited strong results in the first half (February-July 2026). It said the second half (August 2026-January 2027) is difficult to forecast precisely as of October 2026 because of seasonal fluctuations and the effect of cost reductions, so it disclosed profit figures as ranges based on currently available information and certain assumptions it judged reasonable.

According to reference material attached to the filing, monthly sales were historically concentrated in May-June and October (fiscal years to January 2016-2025), shifting to April-June and January in the year to January 2026. In the current year, sales are shifting further forward, to March-June and December-January (the fourth quarter).

The company said profit levels may be revised again depending on results in December 2026-January 2027, and that it will promptly disclose any facts requiring announcement.
