Mansei Denki (7565) on Nov. 4 raised its full-year net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 by 15.7% to ¥1.25 billion from ¥1.08 billion, after first-half results beat its own guidance.

For the April-September half, net sales rose 32.9% from a year earlier to ¥16.33 billion, operating profit climbed 36.4% to ¥980 million, ordinary profit gained 38.8% to ¥1.02 billion and net profit attributable to owners of the parent increased 41.1% to ¥712 million. All figures topped the forecasts issued on Aug. 4, with sales 8.9% and net profit 32.0% above guidance.

The company cited solid capital spending in logistics, food and data center-related areas, as well as corporate IT investment. It said higher value-added products and services and improved sales productivity lifted profits.

Sales in the electronic devices and information/communication equipment segment nearly doubled, up 97.5% to ¥6.88 billion, as a temporary lull in large corporate orders ended and PC sales grew sharply. Electrical equipment and industrial systems rose 7.6% to ¥6.19 billion, facility equipment rose 7.1% to ¥3.21 billion, and solar power fell 8.0% to ¥56 million.
