Yurtec cited an ample backlog of construction work, efforts to pass higher labor and subcontracting costs on to contract prices, and tighter cost control that improved project profitability, along with higher sales at overseas subsidiaries. It said the revised consolidated forecast puts it on course to meet the revenue and operating profit targets of its medium-term business plan ahead of schedule, and that it will review future targets.

For the April-September first half, revenue rose 5.7% to ¥125.6 billion, operating profit increased 47.5% to ¥8.69 billion and net profit attributable to owners of the parent climbed 79.4% to ¥5.79 billion.

Under its policy of a consolidated payout ratio of at least 40%, the company set the interim dividend at ¥42 and forecast a year-end dividend of ¥42, up from ¥39 each previously. It paid ¥72 for the previous year. The buyback covers up to 1.7 million shares, or 2.47% of shares outstanding excluding treasury stock, through ToSTNeT-3 off-auction trading and discretionary market purchases. All repurchased shares will be canceled.

Next steps: shares will be bought from Oct. 29, 2026, to March 12, 2027, and canceled on March 31, 2027. The interim dividend takes effect on Dec. 1, 2026. The semiannual report is scheduled to be filed on Nov. 12, 2026.
