Axell Corporation (TSE: 6730) on Sept. 28, 2026 raised its consolidated net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 by 91.0% to ¥1.70 billion from ¥890 million, and lifted its annual dividend forecast to ¥79 per share from ¥41.

FY net profit forecast¥1.70 billion (from ¥890 million)
FY sales forecast¥20.4 billion (from ¥15.0 billion)
FY operating profit forecast¥2.29 billion (from ¥1.20 billion)
Annual dividend forecast¥79 per share (from ¥41)

Full-year consolidated forecasts versus the May 11, 2026 guidance:

ItemPreviousRevisedChange
Net sales¥15.0 billion¥20.4 billion+36.0%
Operating profit¥1.20 billion¥2.29 billion+90.8%
Ordinary profit¥1.27 billion¥2.35 billion+85.0%
Net profit¥890 million¥1.70 billion+91.0%

For the first half ending September, Axell raised its sales forecast to ¥9.65 billion from ¥8.15 billion and its net profit forecast to ¥1.02 billion from ¥700 million.

The company said it now expects to sell about 350,000 graphics LSIs for pachinko and pachislot machines, versus an initial plan of 310,000, as it sees the annual market for new machines expanding to 1.45 million units from an assumed 1.35 million. Memory module sales are also expected to beat plan, as the reuse ratio for memory modules is lower than initially expected.

Soaring global memory prices driven by generative AI demand have raised production costs for some products, and Axell has been adjusting selling prices in line with product value, boosting revenue. Gross profit is now seen at ¥5.70 billion, up 29.5% from plan, while the gross margin is expected to fall 1.4 percentage points to 27.9%. The company said gross profit per unit would stay at the level of its previous forecast. Selling, general and administrative expenses were revised up 6.6% to ¥3.41 billion, reflecting new development costs for next-generation products and higher performance-linked bonus provisions.

Under its policy of paying out 50% of net profit, Axell raised its year-end dividend forecast to ¥79 from ¥41, with no interim dividend, compared with ¥57 a year earlier. The revised dividend implies a consolidated payout ratio of 50.1%.
