Teitsu said sales of trading card-related merchandise have exceeded its initial assumptions, while other product lines have also been solid, with used goods sales performing particularly well. It expects full-year net sales to top the previous forecast. Higher sales, together with strong used goods sales, are expected to lift gross profit, prompting the upward revision to operating, ordinary and net profit.

The company said the revision does not change its dividend forecast.
