Ryukyu Ginko (8399) on Oct. 23 raised its consolidated net profit forecast for the April-September first half of the fiscal year ending March 2027 to ¥5,672 million from ¥4,300 million, an increase of 31.9%.

Revised H1 ordinary profit forecast (consolidated)¥8,384 million

The bank also lifted its consolidated ordinary profit forecast by 33.1% to ¥8,384 million from ¥6,300 million, and its earnings per share forecast to ¥138.29 from ¥104.86. Both revised profit forecasts exceed the year-earlier first-half results.

On a non-consolidated basis, the ordinary profit forecast was raised 25.7% to ¥7,417 million from ¥5,900 million, and the net profit forecast 24.1% to ¥5,088 million from ¥4,100 million.

The bank said non-consolidated profit is expected to exceed its initial forecast, mainly due to higher interest on loans and higher interest and dividends on securities. The consolidated revision mainly reflects the non-consolidated revision. The previous forecasts were announced on May 12, 2026.

Consolidated ordinary revenue for the first half is projected at ¥46,070 million, up 17.3% from ¥39,262 million a year earlier, while non-consolidated ordinary revenue is expected to rise 20.5% to ¥32,693 million from ¥27,138 million, driven by the same factors.

The bank left its full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 unchanged, saying it needs to assess the impact of financial market trends on its results.
