The company said purchase prices for raw materials and other inputs have kept rising and exceeded its initial assumptions, citing first-half results as well as the Middle East situation and exchange rates. It expects room air-conditioner sales to increase from the third quarter ahead of stricter energy-saving standards taking effect in April 2027, and said it will continue launching new EcoCute products, strengthening sales, reviewing product prices and cutting costs.

For the first half (April 1-Sept. 30, 2026), net sales fell 1.7% to ¥39.5 billion. The operating loss was ¥675 million, compared with ¥599 million a year earlier, and the net loss attributable to owners of the parent was ¥286 million versus ¥259 million. By product, heating equipment sales fell 3.0% to ¥6.92 billion, air-conditioning and home appliances slipped 0.2% to ¥10.99 billion, and housing equipment dropped 4.4% to ¥18.39 billion. The equity ratio stood at 77.1%.

The company set an interim dividend of ¥14 per share and kept its year-end forecast at ¥14, for an annual total of ¥28.

The interim dividend is scheduled to be paid from Dec. 3, 2026, and the semi-annual securities report is due to be filed on Nov. 6, 2026.
