Yamazen Corporation (8051) raised its net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 to ¥12.25 billion from ¥10.0 billion, up 22.5%, on stronger-than-expected demand in its production goods business.

FY net profit forecast¥12.25 billion (prev. ¥10.0 billion)
FY net sales forecast¥618.0 billion (prev. ¥585.0 billion)
FY operating profit forecast¥17.9 billion (prev. ¥15.0 billion)
H1 net profit forecast¥6.25 billion (prev. ¥4.6 billion)

The TSE Prime-listed company on Oct. 21 revised the consolidated forecasts it announced on Aug. 10 for the first half (April 1-Sept. 30, 2026) and the full fiscal year (April 1, 2026-March 31, 2027).

Net profit attributable to owners of parent¥10.0 billion¥12.25 billion+22.5%

For the first half, Yamazen now expects net sales of ¥307.0 billion (previously ¥290.0 billion), operating profit of ¥8.9 billion (¥7.0 billion), ordinary profit of ¥9.3 billion (¥7.1 billion) and net profit of ¥6.25 billion (¥4.6 billion), up 35.9%, or ¥71.26 per share.

The company said demand in its production goods business from the semiconductor and AI, data center, aerospace, shipbuilding and defense sectors continued to far exceed its assumptions after the August revision. The likelihood of inquiries turning into formal contracts rose and the time to contract shortened, bringing orders to a level matching demand. Products procured in advance to secure supply and shorten lead times also shipped earlier than expected as orders beat estimates.

For the full year, Yamazen said it needs to carefully monitor market trends and changes in the external environment from the third quarter onward, but cited its current order backlog and promising inquiries in the overseas production goods business, its product procurement outlook, and changes in sales mix including other businesses that remain firm.

The dividend forecast was left unchanged. The company said it will promptly disclose any further revision it deems necessary.
