ZACROS (7917) raised its net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 to ¥7.1 billion from ¥6.5 billion and lifted its interim and year-end dividends by ¥2 each to ¥20 per share, while cutting its sales outlook to ¥169.0 billion from ¥176.0 billion.

The company said its earlier forecast assumed raw material and energy costs would surge amid tensions in the Middle East, with substantial price pass-through. Costs rose sharply but less steeply than expected, limiting pass-through and pushing the sales outlook lower. Profit is expected to exceed the earlier projection on higher sales of electronic materials in the information and electronics business, along with production efficiency gains and price pass-through. Revised full-year EPS is ¥99.13.

First-half sales in the information and electronics segment rose 16.1% to ¥31.91 billion, as growth in the semiconductor market, mainly for AI, sharply boosted sales of interlayer insulation film.

Citing a payout ratio target of 40%, ZACROS raised its interim dividend to ¥20 per share from a forecast ¥18, for a total payout of ¥1,432 million. It also lifted its year-end forecast to ¥20 from ¥18, bringing the annual total to ¥40, compared with ¥36 a year earlier adjusted for a 4-for-1 stock split effective Oct. 1, 2025.

Next steps: the interim dividend takes effect Nov. 24, 2026, and the company plans to file its semiannual report on Nov. 11, 2026.
