MIT Holdings Co., Ltd. (4016) cut its consolidated net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending November 2026 by 35.8% to ¥110 million from ¥172 million, and lowered its sales forecast to ¥4.956 billion from ¥5.7 billion.

Revised sales forecast¥4.956 billion (prev. ¥5.7 billion)
Revised operating profit forecast¥196 million (prev. ¥285 million)
Revised net profit forecast¥110 million (prev. ¥172 million)

The Tokyo-listed IT services company now expects operating profit of ¥196 million, down 31.0% from its previous forecast of ¥285 million, and ordinary profit of ¥194 million versus ¥277 million. Projected earnings per share fell to ¥55.18 from ¥86.17. The previous forecasts were issued on Jan. 14, 2026.

In system integration services, financial-sector work is running ahead of plan, but a major telecom client changed its policy and scaled back staffing, while the launch of strategic projects and planned headcount increases were delayed. MIT cut the sales forecast for that service line 12.0% to ¥4.19 billion. The sales forecast for DX solution services was lowered 18.1% to ¥766 million after sales of in-house products such as Wisebook and the DynaCAD series fell short of plan and revenue from some cloud system projects was pushed back.

The company said higher engineer billing rates and growth in recurring revenue kept its gross margin above the prior-year level, and that the factors that weighed on sales this year have largely been resolved.

For the nine months from Dec. 1, 2025, to Aug. 31, 2026, sales fell 4.5% year on year to ¥3.706 billion, operating profit dropped 13.4% to ¥167 million and net profit declined 18.9% to ¥97 million, according to its third-quarter earnings report released the same day.

MIT kept its year-end dividend forecast at ¥30 per share.
