In the previous fiscal year ended August 2025, the company posted sales of ¥27.45 billion, operating profit of ¥5.71 billion and net profit of ¥4.08 billion.

The company said the fiscal year was the first under its fifth medium-term management plan, covering the years ending August 2026 through August 2030 and announced on Oct. 15, 2025. It pursued four priority strategies, including expanding its e-commerce and entertainment (IP) businesses and strengthening its own factories. Sales to end users and through e-commerce rose sharply, lifestyle products grew strongly and eco products performed well.

To limit the impact of a weaker yen, higher oil prices and logistics disruptions linked to tensions in the Middle East, the company hedged a portion of its foreign-exchange exposure, secured raw materials and built up inventory including semi-finished goods, keeping results strong from the third quarter onward. Continued pay increases for employees are expected to cut its tax burden by ¥101 million under the wage-hike promotion tax system.

In line with its policy of a payout ratio of at least 40%, the company raised its year-end dividend forecast by ¥1.50. The interim dividend was zero. Adjusted for a 2-for-1 stock split effective Sept. 1, 2025, the payout is ¥4 higher than the previous year's and would mark a 15th consecutive dividend increase since listing.
