Park24 (4666) said it expects to book a ¥5.5 billion extraordinary loss in its fiscal fourth quarter related to a personal data leak caused by unauthorized third-party access, and cut its full-year net profit forecast by 12.5% to ¥38.5 billion.

The loss covers compensation payments to customers for whom the company found traces of access to, and external transmission of, encrypted images of driver's licenses and other identity documents, as well as costs of responding to the incident, Park24 said in a filing on Oct. 23, 2026. The company released the findings of its investigation into the unauthorized access the same day. The fourth quarter runs from Aug. 1 to Oct. 31, 2026.

For the fiscal year ending October 2026 (Nov. 1, 2025-Oct. 31, 2026), Park24 kept its sales, operating profit and ordinary profit forecasts unchanged from the previous projections issued on June 15, 2026. Only the net profit forecast was lowered, reflecting the extraordinary loss.
