For the first half ending Nov. 30, 2026, the company raised its net sales forecast to ¥7.03 billion from ¥5.83 billion, operating profit to ¥1.05 billion from ¥675 million and net profit to ¥760 million from ¥460 million.

First-quarter results for June-August, released the same day, showed net sales of ¥3.38 billion, up 35.0% from a year earlier, operating profit of ¥518 million, up 240.6%, and net profit of ¥373 million, up 244.8%.

The company said capital spending on generative AI and AI data centers boosted demand from the electronic components and semiconductor sectors, particularly photonics-electronics convergence, while overseas demand, mainly from the U.S. and China, kept recovering. Orders for mirrors and spherical lenses built into manufacturing and inspection equipment, and for high-precision motorized stages including alignment systems, are trending higher, and demand for system products for medical and defense uses is expected to stay firm. It also cited an improved contribution margin from higher sales and a better product mix.

The dividend forecast is unchanged at ¥25 per share each for the interim and year-end periods, or ¥50 for the full year.
