The company said a large home-console game project won in the prior year ended, and AI adoption in ad screening shrank existing client contracts. Profits were hit by temporary overlapping labor costs from site consolidation in the third quarter, faster-than-planned hiring of advanced AI staff for its "AI-BPO" model, and shareholder-perk costs of ¥205 million versus a planned ¥150 million. It also booked an impairment loss of ¥119 million after halting development of some customer-support tools. The company said it would tighten monthly tracking and disclose expected gaps promptly, even before results are final.

The annual dividend was ¥38 per share, up from ¥35, for a payout ratio of 80.5%. For the year ending September 2027, E-Guardian forecasts revenue of ¥11.8 billion (up 4.5%), operating profit of ¥1.2 billion (up 24.6%) and net profit of ¥853 million (up 55.9%), with a dividend of ¥42.

Next steps: the annual securities report is due Dec. 10, 2026, the annual shareholders' meeting is scheduled for Dec. 16 and dividend payments begin Dec. 17.
