Kuraudia Holdings (3607) said net profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 35.7% to ¥423 million in the year ended Aug. 31, 2026, above its previous forecast of ¥350 million.

Net profit¥423 million (up 35.7%)
Operating profit¥632 million (up 57.2%)
Annual dividend¥12 per share (incl. ¥2 commemorative)
FY2027 net profit forecast¥550 million

Sales rose 2.1% to ¥13.88 billion, operating profit jumped 57.2% to ¥632 million and ordinary profit climbed 60.4% to ¥668 million. Earnings per share were ¥46.84.

The bridal company said a French restaurant in Tokyo's Chiyoda ward and the Tokyo Daijingu Daijingu Kaikan venue, which it began operating in April 2026, contributed to sales, while higher revenue from lower-cost costume handling and venue operations lifted profit.

Against the forecast issued Oct. 1, 2025, sales fell 2.9% short as resort wedding sales and venue operation revenue missed plan, while profit at every level came in above it. Net profit absorbed a ¥163 million business restructuring loss tied to closing its Qingdao factory, partly offset by a ¥114 million income tax adjustment gain.

For the year ending Aug. 31, 2027, Kuraudia projects sales of ¥14.7 billion, up 5.9%, operating profit of ¥750 million, up 18.6%, and net profit of ¥550 million, up 29.8%, or ¥60.45 per share. It ended operations at its Qingdao plant in August 2026 and will use its Vietnam factory as its main production site.

Next steps: the company plans to file its annual securities report on Nov. 20, 2026, hold its annual shareholders' meeting on Nov. 25 and begin dividend payments on Nov. 26.
