The company said shipments of steel castings for semiconductor production equipment were strong on AI-related demand, while price revisions it had mainly expected from the second half and higher sales of relatively high-margin products lifted operating profit above plan. In its engineering business, delays in on-site construction at several projects pushed back sales timing; the company called this a one-off shift that will not affect its sales forecast for the year.

It booked a ¥34 million extraordinary loss from a warehouse fire in July 2026, comprising ¥13 million in temporary costs incurred through the end of the period and ¥20 million in expected debris-removal costs. It said recovery work could lead to additional capital spending or costs.

The full-year forecast announced on July 29, 2026 was left unchanged at net sales of ¥14.5 billion, operating profit of ¥780 million, ordinary profit of ¥730 million and net profit of ¥480 million, or ¥99.56 per share. The annual dividend forecast stays at ¥30 per share, versus ¥20 for the previous year. The equity ratio stood at 55.1% at Sept. 30.

The company plans to file its semiannual securities report on Nov. 10, 2026.
