Media Soken Inc. (9242) said its accounting auditor will change on Dec. 1, 2026, when Josui Kansa Hojin merges with SCS Kokusai Yugen Sekinin Kansa Hojin and the combined firm is renamed Yugen Sekinin SCS Josui Kansa Hojin.
The change, disclosed on Oct. 19 under Article 193-2, Paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, stems from the merger of the two audit firms. Josui is the absorbed firm and SCS Kokusai the surviving entity. From the merger date, audit certification for Media Soken will be performed by the renamed firm.
