Bimappu (4316), listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Growth market, said on Sept. 30 its shares will be delisted on Oct. 1, 2026, and that it will buy back odd-lot shares at ¥42, the closing price on the final trading day.
The TSE designated the stock as "Securities to Be Delisted" on March 31, 2026. The company, listed since January 2002, did not give a reason for the designation in the notice and apologized to shareholders.
In principle for one year from the delisting date, Japan Securities Depository Center (JASDEC) will continue to handle the shares as book-entry transfer shares, so they will remain held through securities companies. After delisting, the shares can no longer be traded on the TSE. Transfers will be possible only through negotiated transactions between sellers and buyers, processed through each holder's brokerage.
Holders of shares below one trading unit may still ask the company to buy them back. For the time being, Bimappu will apply the Sept. 30 closing price of ¥42. The company charges no fee, though some brokerages may. Shareholders seeking a different price must apply directly to the company. Mizuho Trust & Banking Co. serves as shareholder registry administrator.
