The company, listed on the TSE Standard Market, said it received the notice from the exchange on Sept. 28, 2026. It did not detail the reasons in its filing, instead referring investors to the Japan Exchange Group website for the content of and reasons for the designation.

Under the terms described in the filing, Welldish must apply during the grace period for a review of whether it meets criteria equivalent to the exchange's new listing examination standards. If it is found to meet them, it will be released from the grace period and its listing will be maintained. If it is not found compliant within the grace period, it may be delisted.

Welldish said it received the final report of an independent investigation committee on Aug. 3, 2026, and is drawing up measures to prevent a recurrence based on the report. The company said it would work to strengthen its business foundation and management structure in order to pass the expected review, and apologized to shareholders and investors.
