WIZE Inc. (3664) said on Oct. 21 it has extended the planned spending period for ¥750 million of warrant proceeds earmarked for its Solana treasury business to October 2025-December 2027 from October 2025-October 2026, as ¥42 million in unspent development costs will be deployed in stages.

Revised spending periodOct. 2025-Dec. 2027
Unspent development costs¥42 million
Expected total proceedsapprox. ¥1,364.2 million

The ¥750 million allocation comprises ¥700 million for purchasing Solana and ¥50 million for development costs. The full ¥700 million for Solana purchases has already been spent. Of the development budget, which had been slated for use by October 2026, ¥8 million went to building a validator, which has been completed.

The remaining ¥42 million will fund upgrades to the validator's operations and new development using the Solana blockchain, work the company plans to carry out in stages through December 2027.

The Solana treasury business, part of WIZE's IP investment and incubation operations, seeks to strengthen the company's earnings base by holding and staking Solana. WIZE said it aims to resolve the going-concern note in its financial statements and exit the improvement period it is in under the listing maintenance criteria.

In a May 26, 2026 disclosure, WIZE raised the amount for this use to ¥750 million from ¥550 million. The 36th, 37th and 38th stock acquisition rights, issued via third-party allotment, are expected to raise a total of about ¥1,364.2 million. Amounts and timelines for other uses are unchanged.
