The company, listed on the TSE Prime and Nagoya Premier markets, said the split aims to lower the investment unit price, improve liquidity and broaden its investor base. Total shares issued will double from 16,651,708, while capital stock is unchanged. Authorized shares under Article 6 of the articles of incorporation will rise to 100 million from 50 million.

The company also amended the share buyback approved by its board on May 14, 2026, raising the maximum number of shares to be acquired to 1.6 million from 800,000. Only the share cap was changed; the total acquisition cost is capped at ¥2 billion, and the repurchase period runs from May 15, 2026 to March 24, 2027.

The interim dividend for the Sept. 30, 2026 record date will be paid on the pre-split share count at ¥40 per share. The year-end dividend forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 was revised to ¥20 from ¥40, equivalent to ¥40 before the split, for an annual total of ¥80 on a pre-split basis.

Shareholder benefit thresholds will be doubled to reflect the split. Holders of record on March 31 will need 400 shares instead of 200 to receive a ¥3,000 product gift, and a new tier offering a ¥1,000 product gift will be added for holders of 100 to 199 shares on Sept. 30. The company is also introducing a long-term holder benefit of a ¥3,000 QUO card for those holding 2,000 or more shares continuously for at least two years, plus a one-time special gift for shareholders of record on March 31, 2027.

Next steps: The record-date public notice is scheduled for Dec. 15, 2026, with the Dec. 31 record date effectively falling on Dec. 30. The split, the change to the articles and the new benefit thresholds take effect Jan. 1, 2027.
