(7611) bought back 1,178,000 of its own shares for ¥3.50 billion through the Tokyo Stock Exchange's off-auction ToSTNeT-3 system on Oct. 5, 2026, as Representative Director and Chairman Tadashi Kanda sold part of his stake, cutting his share of voting rights to 7.091% from 10.154% and ending his status as a major and largest shareholder.

The repurchase completes the buyback authorized by the board on Oct. 2, which allowed up to 1.2 million common shares, or ¥3.5 billion. Because purchases had to stay within the amount cap, the effective share limit was 1,178,000. Kanda, previously the company's largest shareholder, notified the company that he sold part of his holdings in connection with the repurchase. Based on his report and the shareholder register as of Aug. 31, 2026, he ceased to be a major shareholder and the largest shareholder as of Oct. 5.
