GMO Financial Holdings (7177) said preliminary net profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 18.2% to ¥10.53 billion in the nine months through September, and raised its full-year dividend forecast to ¥68.60 per share from ¥57.04.

9M net profit (preliminary)¥10.53 billion
9M operating revenue (preliminary)¥44.51 billion
Annual dividend forecast¥68.60 per share (from ¥57.04)
Q3-end and year-end dividends¥20.23 each

Operating revenue rose 15.9% to ¥44.51 billion for January-September 2026, operating profit climbed 17.3% to ¥16.07 billion and ordinary profit jumped 24.4% to ¥15.99 billion, according to the preliminary figures. The company said revenue and every profit line exceeded the year-earlier period, marking a record for the nine-month period, and cautioned that final figures may differ.

Over-the-counter FX revenue stayed below the prior year after a weaker first half, but the decline narrowed as third-quarter volatility rose on coordinated Japan-U.S. currency intervention and verbal warnings against yen weakness. CFD revenue eased from the record level set in the first quarter but remained well above a year earlier and led overall results. Income from investing customer deposits and from margin trading held firm, while the crypto-asset business posted lower revenue amid a market-wide slump in trading.

The company targets a payout ratio of at least 65%, with a 10% dividend-on-equity (DOE) ratio as a floor, and had set a quarterly dividend floor of ¥10.52. Applying the 65% payout ratio to preliminary nine-month profit yields ¥22.08 per share; the ¥11.56 excess will be split evenly between the third-quarter and year-end payouts, adding ¥5.78 to the previous forecast of ¥14.45 for each and bringing both to ¥20.23. Including actual dividends of ¥13.69 for the first quarter and ¥14.45 for the second, the annual total comes to ¥68.60, versus ¥57.58 for fiscal 2025.

The company plans to release its formal results on Oct. 30, 2026, and said it will promptly disclose any matters affecting the year-end dividend forecast based on earnings progress.
