The company said its basic policy is to continue paying stable dividends. However, issues including inappropriate transactions by a former representative director emerged and were examined by an independent investigation committee, as disclosed on April 22, 2026, when the committee was set up, and on Aug. 10, 2026, when its final report was published.

In addition, the company's accounting auditor resigned during the fiscal year, as disclosed on May 14, and it took a considerable period to appoint a successor. Welldish appointed a temporary accounting auditor on Sept. 24, 2026, and audit procedures for the fiscal year ended August 2026 are under way. The company said it still needs to fully assess the impact of the matter on the group's earnings and financial position.

After considering its financial condition and business environment, the company decided to forgo the year-end dividend. It apologized to shareholders for revising the forecast and said it would work to improve and strengthen its management and financial base and resume dividends where possible.
